Is It Time for Women to Rise in Charge?
Interesting finding for you! The Gathering of Tribes - Portugal 2024
TLL Updates!
We are tracing the steps for our October summit, where you’ll be astounded by the speakers and what we are up to. It will be a middle point in our Global Story project so it’s crucial to have it carefully framed and adjusted.
Most of you already know how successful our first summit was, a testament to speed and quality in the face of creating the needed fast action to solve our existential problems. Now think about our next summit being 10x better.
If you want to be part of our next chapter and are an A-player doer who wants to impact the world, you can still reach out. Let’s talk. You might get in the spotlight further in our journey, but we keep doors always open for the right ones.
Our pilot updates! It will happen on July 2nd!
One more extra news. We filled the spots for our 1H pilot in less than 24H. Wait, don’t get upset, there is more. The pilot generated intrigue because people are very interested in seeing how we can generate super intelligence together as a hive or a swarm.
We had a limited number at first but because of the interest our partners allowed us to go beyond so we accepted more applications. All initial prepping details will be emailed to those who are accepted during this week.
The date was voted by the vast majority and so now it’s set for 2nd July, Friday: 8-9 AM PT | 11 AM - 12 PM EDT | 5 PM CET - 6 PM CET | 8:30 IST - 9:30 IST.
The most exciting part? We managed to have the most diverse group exactly as we wanted. We have applicants from all continents, except Australia and Antarctica checking different ethnicities, ages, and backgrounds. The findings of this pilot will be very interesting for all of us.
Do you still want to join when you have the chance? Register here quickly and grab your spot.
P.S. Don’t worry about the questionnaire questions. During the pilot, you’ll access a private link where you’ll be assigned a random fun name so no one will know who you are but you also won’t know who the other people are. We expect honesty and openness without any guard. Will be so much fun.
Is It Time for Women to Rise in Charge?
What would you say if your life, and indeed the world, were to change overnight with women at the helm? It's not a distant dream or a hypothetical scenario—it's an emerging reality, powerfully highlighted by the recent initiatives led by Melinda French Gates.
In the early days of the pandemic, while navigating a personal crossroads, Melinda French Gates demonstrated remarkable resilience and leadership. Amid the complexity of her life and the world around her, she chose to step into a new role, focusing on a mission that could change the lives of millions—helping women thrive.
Melinda French Gates recently announced a billion-dollar fund dedicated to empowering women. This bold move is more than just a financial commitment; it's a statement that women are ready to lead, innovate, and drive change on a global scale. But what if this wasn't just the initiative of one influential woman? What if women everywhere were given the opportunity, resources, and support to rise to leadership roles?
Imagine a world where women's perspectives and solutions shape our policies, economies, and communities. What changes could we see?
Economic Growth: Studies consistently show that investing in women leads to significant economic benefits. Women reinvest a large portion of their income into their families and communities, fostering sustainable development and economic growth.
Innovative Solutions: Women's unique experiences and perspectives can lead to innovative solutions to global challenges. From climate change to health care, their insights are crucial for creating effective, inclusive policies and technologies.
Social Equity: Women leaders are often champions of social justice, advocating for policies that promote equity and inclusion. Their leadership can help address systemic issues such as gender inequality, racial discrimination, and economic disparity.
Not to mention that according to our many TLL conversations, it was identified that women led the way in everything SUSTAINABILITY being more quick and open to shift and support sustainable initiatives compared to men.
Melinda French Gates’ billion-dollar initiative is a testament to what’s possible when women are empowered. She is channeling resources to help women step into their full power, fostering environments where they can thrive and lead. This isn’t just about giving women a seat at the table; it’s about redesigning the table itself to be more inclusive and equitable.
In her Texan roots and her rise through Microsoft to her impactful philanthropic work, Melinda’s story is one of resilience, innovation, and determination. Her recent efforts, including Pivotal Ventures and her focus on gender equality, exemplify how strategic investment in women can catalyze broader societal change.
Here at Tech Leadership Lab, we are committed to supporting initiatives that drive gender equality and empower women leaders. Our upcoming projects and events will continue to highlight the importance of women's leadership and create platforms for their voices to be heard.
As we look to the future, we encourage you to reflect on how you can support this movement. Whether through advocacy, mentorship, or simply by amplifying women’s voices, each action contributes to a larger, transformative change.
