Exciting Announcement from TLL: Entering the Next Phase

We're thrilled to announce the next groundbreaking phase for Tech Leadership Lab—The Global Story: A Vision for SDGs. This initiative marks a pivotal third stage in our journey, set to unfold over the next 12 months. Our aim is to mobilize massive action and engage stakeholders worldwide to craft a unified narrative that inspires a shared vision for our future.

Details will be unveiled progressively, but for now, save the date for our next summit from October 9-11, where this vision will take center stage. This project promises to be our most ambitious and captivating yet, as we strive to define what truly unites us today for a brighter tomorrow.

Stay tuned! With TLL's signature speed, agility, and commitment, we're dedicated to accelerating solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals. The journey ahead is not just rapid—it's transformative. And what a journey awaits all who join us! We are over the moon with excitement.

Elevating Our Team: The Search for A-Players

The next chapter demands the right people. Until now, we've operated like a sandbox, letting those passionate about our vision take ownership of projects from start to finish.

However, it's time to sharpen our focus and attract more A-players—experts in their fields who are ready to change the world. Consequently, we've tailored job descriptions to reflect our mission and what lies ahead precisely.

Remarkably, we had to pause the job posting after just 23 hours due to the overwhelming response—57 applications, all highly qualified for the roles we envisioned.

Note! We don't care about your geographical location; our mission to elevate humanity to a Level 1 Civilization transcends borders.

Unfortunately, LinkedIn and other platforms still struggle to accommodate truly global scenarios effectively.

Extending this philosophy, we also do not discriminate based on gender, age, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. While we care deeply about you as a person, we strive to avoid labels and remain vigilant about unconscious biases, always ready to call each other out if necessary.

Nearly everyone brought something unique and intriguing to the table, and some applications genuinely astounded us with their insights and proposals in the second stage. This overwhelming interest only reaffirms that the desire to do good for humanity is contagious, and there are many out there determined to make a difference.

We feel privileged to begin the meetings with the shortlisted candidates over the next two weeks. If you missed out and feel we should know your awesomeness, review the job description here and express your interest by emailing us at ask @ techeadershiplab.org. We'd hate to overlook your potential! You'll know what to write.

Reminder: Engage with the Consensus Document!

Don't forget to review and share our Consensus Document with both local and global authorities, as well as policymakers active in the climate sector who are seeking relevant data. Same with SDG journalists.

We've begun distributing it across various platforms, from the UN to specialized research sites, aiding other passionate contributors by providing actionable, digestible information. While it's not perfect, it represents a solid beginning.

We're committed to learning and improving from every interaction and every piece of feedback we receive.

TLLish Ventures with a Slice, a Quote, and a Tune!

Last week, our first Quiz winner received the treat—the pizza delivered right to Nairobi, Kenya! It’s our way of saying a big, delicious 'thank you' for participating and making our events so engaging. Our community agreed that it looked delicious, even better than in other parts of the world.

The other prizes are done or undergoing. No winner was forgotten.

"The absolute best energy source is the fossil energy we don't use."

~ Professor Susan Krumdieck.

This quote came from our event last week, replay available, Shaping the Future with Rechargeable Buildings and Transition Engineering. The was on fire and we registered a record in attendance on LinkedIn.

Our first AI-generated song was made, starting from a question: "What should we post tomorrow?"

Enjoy it on repeat below. It's super catchy.

P.S. The lyrics were influenced by the LIVE with Jack and Susan, who we believe never thought to hear "rechargeable buildings" and "transition engineering" as part of a song lyrics. :)

Today's LIVE Event!

Let's mix tech with mental health! That was the thinking behind our new episode of the post-summit dialogues matchmaking process.

We have Dr. Brian Alman back with us from the Humanized Tech panel where the level of discussion and the otherworldly topics created an atmosphere filled with wonder and connection. Replay here >>>

He brought a wealth of data and skillful storytelling that made it impossible not to be charmed. For those who may not be familiar with his work, Dr. Alman is a key contributor to one of the largest mental health studies globally.

The research aspects of his work are simply mind-blowing. We are thrilled to have him join us again tomorrow to discuss technology and mental health alongside the amazing Katrina Montinola.

She brings technology into the equation and a fresh perspective about how she sees tech help out with mental health solutions. Katrina has a lengthy experience as a technologist and worked inside the healthcare industry too.

Bring your questions and opinions with you as always, we are here to listen and give you a platform of expression.

See you LIVE in a couple of hours.
