Building Our A-Team: The Unexpected Strategy That Changed Everything!
Ever tried to build something big and felt like everything was going wrong? That’s exactly how our first attempt at building a community felt. We were getting ready for our first big summit, and oh boy, it was messy. A few of us were swamped, totally burned out, and even though everyone said they wanted to help, things just weren’t moving forward. It felt like we needed a total do-over.
But guess what? We pulled it off! The summit turned out to be a huge success. Seriously, you should check it out—I think you’ll love it!
After the summit, we all took a deep breath and really thought about what we were trying to do. We realized we didn’t just need any vision; we needed a big, bold vision—one that could bring people together from all over the world to solve the SDGs asap.
Figuring this out wasn’t easy. We had tons of meetings, and man, they were intense! Lots of arguing, some shouting—yeah, it got pretty hot. But after all that heat, we finally agreed on our new path: building a global vision.
So, we shouted out on LinkedIn for people who were super skilled and really cared about our mission. And wow, did people respond! We found some of the best folks out there after some interviews and forms they filled out.
Our first meeting with this new team was last week, and it was nothing like we expected. We thought it'd be awkward, with everyone just kind of feeling weird and not saying much. But nope, that didn’t happen!
Instead, there was this amazing quiet. Not the weird kind, but a thoughtful, “we’re all in this together” kind of quiet. Everyone fit right in. They were all ready to jump in with ideas and help:
One lady offered to find speakers for our next summit.
Another volunteered to boost our PR and get more people watching what we do.
And one gentleman said he could connect us with hundreds of young people who’d love to join our mission.
It was like putting together a puzzle. At first, it looks like nothing fits, but then piece by piece, it all starts to make sense, and the big picture comes into view.
We’re just getting started, and it’s already so exciting. Can’t wait to see where this journey takes us all next!

We've begun distributing it across various platforms, from the UN to specialized research sites, aiding other passionate contributors by providing actionable, digestible information. While it's not perfect, it represents a solid beginning.
